My neighbor has an L3901 and it's bigger than my B2650 no doubt. When I was attempting to look up the specs on it from TractorData.com, it shows my 2650 has a greater rear lift capacity. I'm hesitant to believe that. Anyone able to confirm?

B2650 link

L3901 link

It says the B2650 is capable of lifting 1676 pounds 24" out and the L3901 is capable of lifting 1433 pounds 24" out.

Thank you for the facts.

The info on Tractor data IS consistent with the lift capacity stated in the operators manuals for both the B2650 and the L3901.

FYI, my L3240 is rated for 2650 lbs at 24 inches.

All data and all sources sometimes make mistakes. I suspect that all secondary sources (like TractorData) are taking their numbers from the Kubota published data. Very likely Kubota made a mistake in one or the other set of data -- the B2650 or the L3901. If people care, someone should pose the discrepancy to internal authorities at Kubota. Not easy to get past the palace guard of course. Probably the best route is for someone very conversational/has a good relationship with a Kubota Regional Service Rep, explain it to them and see if the Rep can run it to ground.
Come to think of it, Messicks seems to be the go-to outfit for all things Kubota -- maybe they will be willing to investigate and answer?

This may be due to the linkage geometry and the height it lifts to, which is often the case with hydraulics. If the L hitch lifts through a larger range of travel then it is probably not apples to apples. You can't go by a single rating on a linkage system that swings through angles. Same issue with front loaders -- pretty sure the B loader has a bigger capacity rating on paper, but that's because it doesn't lift as high as the L loader. Set to the same lower height of the B, the L loader has more capacity. Need to look at the actual curve of the system to really compare.
