bx 2200
My local kubota dealer has this offer on the table, I will trade my bx with loader and deck with 165 hours for a used b2710 with kubota loader and will put a new deck on, as it currently does not have one. the 2710 has 81 hours. I am to pay $3750.00 difference. I feel like this is a great deal. How about some input. Both tractors look new. Thanks, Paco

Thats a great deal as the price of the tractor alone is that much difference.

Thanks Art, My dealer is a volume dealer and really sells a lot of the Kubota tractors. I was thinking the $5000.00 range, but I am also is my third tractor from him. The first business I pass on the way to work every day is his dealership, and I have to pass It on the way home. Sure makes it difficult.

That sounds alike a great deal. /forums/images/graemlins/smile.gif

Especially if the mower is a 72"MMM. /forums/images/graemlins/wink.gif

Get ready for all some comments about a B2710 being to big for 2 acres. /forums/images/graemlins/cool.gif

I cut and trim my 2 acre lawn in 1 hour with that setup.

Ron, I am getting a 60" deck. I brought it home today to work around the yard. I would not argue that it is a bit much machine for 2 acres. I just cannot justify any less tractor if I am going to trade up, I feel that the 7610 or 2400 is not giving me a lot more cubic inch on the engine and would i be paying boot for the clearance of the machine. I think I will be better served with the 4 cyclinder an additional 27 cubic inches. I do have a side business. It is a stump removal business and I have been fortuanate to stay busy with it. I do offer clean up. I have a big tex hydraulic dump trailer with ramps. The 2710 definitely gives me more clearance for loading the trailer. The 60" bucket is a plus also as I don't lift much weight when cleaning up, so the additional volume of the bucket is a plus because bigger stumps yield a considerable amount of chips.0

I own a B7500 HST and I have a 5' RFM and I am looking at a used MMM.I can buy the MMM for 1500.00. Is this a good deal?I would like to trade my RFM and a little difference for their MMM. What are your thoughts? Should I keep my RFM or go for the MMM? Both are 5'

Don, I really don't know the price for the 60" deck because , I told the dealer on the front end to price it with the deck. I think I paid around $1600.oo for the deck on the bx.

that does sound like a pretty nice deal and the 2710 seems a good fit for what u need it for, especialy with the side business.

I was told a new kubota deck for my B7500 would cost about 2300.00 plus tax.

Yes, a new 60" MMM for the 7500 lists for $2300 but you should be able to get it for about $1900. Whether $1500 is a good deal for a used deck depends on the condition. Check the blades, belt and the gear oil to get an accurate idea of the condition. If you decide to get the used MMM, make sure that you get all the mounting hardware. Good luck!
