hey need help with seals in trany in 135 massey I spit tractor at trany at engine thinking I could remove cone from main shaft to get to seal pulling cone it moves out 1inch and stops whats stopping me from pulling cone off to get to seal ? or do I have pull top off to remove retaining clip or what

Split behind gearbox .....remove lowershaftbearingholder and slide lower shaft to rear till pto gear comes off shaft......then you can remove topshaft and sealhousing .
