Tree and plant identification book?

I can't seem to find a link (I think it's a university program) but there is an application where a picture of a leaf, bark etc., etc... can be taken and uploaded to the app and it scans the image and then compares it to their database...

I've ordered the Audobon book. Thanks. I have been using the Google links but would like the book also. The Peterson guide also looked good too but I ordered the Audobon one first and will see how it works out.
Thanks again for the heads up.

I agree with the elm. I cut it all the time, because here at my place in Georgia, it's kind of a nuisance tree in most places I have. Believe me, anything will burn! I used to work for US Forest Service, back then the old timers taught me a lot about trees in Southwest Mississippi, but I've forgotten a lot. Oaks throw me, there's so many kinds of oaks. I love trees though, as long as not too close to my buildings! Which, right now, some are. My next main project, cutting about 20 trees too close to my house and shop.
