I needed to get some onions in the ground an tried the mulch layer with out the plastic and cover disc to see how the 3130 would pull it.
We received about 3-4 inches of snow Friday but it was almost gone that afternoon and with the high being 72* Saturday and Sunday I thought it would be a good time to try it. With the soil being a little wet I figured if it would pull it in this soil I would not have a problem later.
The beds seem to be about 4-5" high and should work great when I lay plastic in a few weeks. A little crooked at the end of the row but I looked back to see how it was doing.
I had plowed a few weeks ago and had not used the disc or tiller. So this was on plowed ground with the soil only broken down by snow and rain. Should do better once I disc or till.
