Troubleshooting Help on Kubota BX2230 - Starter Won't Turn Over

Found the problem. It was the plug that connects to the speed lever safety switch, and as I had recalled from the previous trip to the dealer it was under the seat (right side, gray plug - hard to access). A landscaper who recently did some work for me came over and found the problem for me. I now know which plug is the problem and where it is located.

Would filling the plug with non conductive silicone fix the problem?

Thanks for the advice everyone.

I had a couple of older collector cars and the product you need is Dielectric grease. Should be able to be bought at the chain auto parts stores, Squirt/squeeze it into all connectors. That's where I bought mine. Had the same problem as you on a B7800 and that's why I told you to unplug and plug back in all of the connectors under the seat. Later I also had a problem with the B7800 rocker foot switch not being centered and thought my connector problem had come back.

Dielectric grease is silicon grease... you can find it under either name at electronic supply stores. Even Radio Shack carries it.
