True 3rd function or diverter valve for grapple?

Regen works faster than direct flow.
That's what people say but that is certainly not my experience. My plow angles super slow in the dump regeneration direction and my grapple closes like molasses is the hydraulic fluid in the regeneration direction. Both attachments operate MUCH faster in the curl non regeneration direction.

Well, you have a kubota. I guess they're not cats meow after all. ;)

Regen is first stage on that right? You have to push past it to get into direct port fed?

Unfortunately my FEL valve is regen ONLY. It does not have a 4-position curl/dump circuit. :(

I'd be swapping out to a better valve.

How do you like it on the lift?
It's fine ... just have to remember to return the joystick to neutral before you let off the button.

Mainly forming a habit, so you are doing it without even thinking.

I do like having the curl function available at the same time.

What setup is more natural? Forward to close grapple?
That's how I felt about it:

Forward to lower the FEL, forward to lower the lid/jaw.

Back to raise the FEL, back to open the lid/jaw.

Originally had the hoses for the grapple reversed so that it was opposite, decided that was counter-intuitive and I ought to change it before it became a habit.
