Can someone tell me the size of the flat bar (1/4x2.5 .. 3/8x3 .. ?) used for the front bumper on the 1910. Mine had a cage built in place of the original and I want to get back to what was on there.

Thanks

I wouldn't put all my money on it, but I suspect these will all be the same. The flat bar is to hang "suitcase" style weights (at least, that's what they are called here in Australia) they would want to be universal.

Is it the bar in the attached picture, where the front weights are?

Yes rich - measure that for me. Looks like 3/8x2.5 or 3. Metric likely has it somewhere in the middle. Where it bolts to the frame is that area undercut smaller than the bumper front? On mine if it's 3", it seems the pivoting of the axle could hit it.

Also, how wide is it across the front .. looks about 16/18". And while your at it .. lol .. check the distance from the frame to the bumper front.

Thanks a bunch!

Ron, I just went out to the shed and measured my TS1610 bumper.

3"high x 3/8"thick x 16" across (side to side). The sides are approx. 3-1/2" wide and bend at about 60-deg. back to the frame where they are welded to the sides of the frame rails. The front face of the bumper projects about 7" from the front end of the frame rails. Hope this finally answers your questions.

Thanks Bill. I didn't know it was welded, on mine there are two bolt holes on both sides with nuts tacked on the inside frame.
