We used some great stuff in the military on the beaches. Honey comb stuff. Just piece it together and fill it with sand.

I checked out the Invisible Structures site. Terrific-looking products, I thought, so I called a dealer. Holy COW! is it expensive. I was interested in the water retention product. A piece of 3' x 3' by 4" recycled plastic cost $25! The cost for using this stuff vs tanks is ridiculous.

Please don't kill thye messenger, here are the prices quoted to me.
"Grasspave": $2.40 sq.ft.
"Geoblock": $3.00 sq.ft. plus shipping costs.

This does not include the cost of preparing the base, sand, soil, seed etc. as per the manufacturers specs.

I like the concept, but I'll be putting off this project.
It would be cheaper to pave, and all I would have to do is write the check. /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif /forums/images/graemlins/tongue.gif
