Really like your grinder. It am guessing with the 3Ph motor you are going to run a VFC to be able to control the speed.

Yes, that is correct. I already have it wired and running, I just need to get the pics up-to-date.

Yes I still have a 25 year old radial arm saw. Using the cup wheel will do the same thing the 6" wet grinding wheel will do and that is hollow grind when dealing with a 1/2" blade. I think the belt is my best choice with the appropriate abrasive belt.

Maybe cup wheel isn't the correct term? The one I'm referring to works as though you were grinding on the side of a regular wheel, yes I know not to do that< but the grinding surface is flat. See type six here
