Welder / Wiring for Small Garage

All, question on wiring and breaker for my personal use small garage.

I have a 50 amp circuit from my house to the garage on 6/3 wire (black, red, white and ground).

I planned to wire a 30 amp circuit for welding with 8/3 wire, but is that enough for say a Hobart Handler 210MVP or a Mult-Handler 200 Multiprocess? I wouldn’t ever need to weld anything thicker than 3/8”.

Will a 30 amp circuit with 8/3 work?

Here's what I use until I get my new shop finished. This is not permanently attached, it plugs into a 50A 4 wire outlet

What are the input requirements stated in the manual? I used a 30 amp circuit for my Hobart 180 and it worked fine. For wire size, you need to look at both the amperage requirement plus the distance.

I use a 30 amp for our Hobart 210 mig welder.
You know that they work on 110 or 220, the 220 is sooo much better, also with the aluminum wire gun.

Doesn't that page for the 210 say it'll pull 24amps at 230V?

And the 200 says 19 amps at 240V?

The run from the house is less than 28’.

The garage is 20’ wide by 30’ long. I planned to put two 30 amp circuits one on each 30’ wall.
