I dont think so...
This is how I see it.... "Build it yourself" is for questions on where to get parts, what RPM something turns, what size chain to use, pics of final project, etc... and the Metalworking side would be more of what type of steel should I use, where to get steel, how do I turn down the OD of a shaft, what milling machine should I buy, what grinder do you guys like, etc...

Welding and Fabrication....That's my vote

I second that. I'm always fabricating something and we all know there's a great deal of interest in this welding section so if we can post some of our fabricating work it might encourage others to get into welding. Great suggestion Mark! :thumbsup:

i'm getting older, i just haven't come to grips with that fact yet.

I really like welding and metal working

you can fabricate something out of anything

I'd rather see the name remain focused on metal

my boss's favorite saying is "there's always room for improvment" second favorite "let's work towards continued improvement"

mod- the real question is what content are you looking to encourage in this particular forum

if it is to stay focused strictly on metal i really like welding and metal working
