What are your wifes doing while you are playing with tractors?

I think I am a lucky man, she lets me play all the time as long as I never complain about her patchwork and quilting. I tell her about my tractors and she explains for me the joy of quilting. None of actually understands what the other means, but it works fine. Here are some pics for your girls!

My wife enjoys Native American beading also cooking...and I can prove she's a great cook.

Yup, having some different hobbies seems to make the relationship stronger.

My Great Grandmother made quilts for many-many years. Some are bringing big bucks these days. A good friends wife is still using my great grandmothers quilting machine and makes quilts as a hobby. Thanks for sharing, I agree, your wife does excellent work.

Nice work you wife does- it looks like you should be able to get plenty of tractor time- given all the material she has! My wife sews alot also, halloween costumes for the kids ( now 30 years old- pretty interesting costumes now! ) and scrub hats- she is a nurse. Also lots of baking! yummy!

My wife works with her horses. They are the reason I have the tractor, besides the snow.

My wife works in her garden and watches birds. When she isn't doing those, she paints. While she doesn't guilt we live near an Amish community and she invests in their work.

Gunnar, I have the exact same arrangement, but Sandi also gets to spend as much time as she wants with her horses. Here are some pics of her quilting room and a few small pieces. A lot of the larger ones are boxed right now.

Just a hobby. She sells some fabric on the quilting guild meetings. She sews everywhere, here seen at The Great Dorset Steam Fair 2006

Good for me, I can take the time I need to watch old tractors, knowing shes not bored, as she is busy sewing.
