Yep, I walked right into the end of one the day after I got 'em. That was six months ago, and there's still some swelling. The forks weren't damaged, thankfully. And they live on the ground when the tractor isn't being used.
/ What else do you do with forks besides lift pallets?
I got that same leg crushed a couple of years prior; it was still healing. Things heal more slowly after six decades! But everything is usable, and progress is steadily made.
One added note: that picture was taken right after it happened, not lately!

Had to use two tractors (and two sets of forks) to move this deer hunting shack down my hill and then lift it for the uprights. Some parts of this move were pretty hairy, like 2" of seat cushion hairy!
