What is the hole for in my BB?

I'm probably going to feel stupid when I find out, but I need to ask - There is about a one inch square hole in the back top edge of the BB and I have yet to figure out its purpose. Would someone enlighten me? Thanks.

Don't know but is that a 1" hitch receiver at the bottom of the photo? Store a spare hitch in it?

Slow, that's a 2" receiver. It fits in there between the channel iron feet nicely and is the same height as the feet. It has been very handy.

And on top of the peg ... a huge shade umbrella !!!!

Might be part of the tiedown/tietogether system used when shipping a stack of the BB's.

Does your box shape look like it would nest with others?
