I changed my job from comfortable one to well paying one that required extensive travel many years ago. I told my first wife "I will do it one or two years so we save some money." I am still at it 42 years later. Sitting firmly on the tiger.

As I read it, back in the 1700's a penny was a lot of money and there were lots of counterfeit pennies out there. So if you got one, you would palm it off on someone else before you got stuck with it. Apparently, they kept turning up. Anyhow, that phrase always had me wondering, too. What the heck is a bad penny? :laughing:
