you can have an accident driving around with heavy loads 6 foot off the ground for no reason. always transport the load as low as possible. in this case, it could be 6 inches. raise the load when you get to your destination. You could severly injure yourself and your "adjustable ballast"

it was with the grapple and it wasn't strange but had to move a little branch one time...

Not really strange, but I use mine to take the garbage down for pickup every couple weeks.
