I agree. I wanted one in the worst way when I got my hoe. But never got around to having one made. On an excavator, different story. There is so little reach and only 180 degrees iof movement with a little hoe, so it's hardly worth the bother. I also have grapples, so the thumb is even more unnecessary. -+

Except from depriving one of badly needed excercise. Not meaning to be argumentative. I like my toys, but . . .

It is handy to raise a log for bucking, but a loader/forks/grapple will do that too.

AND, you would be hard pressed to carry that log out of the forest.

I pick up a lot of things with the hoe and thumb, latest was a 5x7ft sheet of 7ga and put it on a set of saw horses to cut to size then put the 5x6ft sheet on the trailer floor. Well worth the 300 or so beans it cost me.

I will likely end up with one.
Looks handy.
