Clarification: I generally run in 4wd, so I got my terms backwards. My MX goes into 4wd easily. It's hard to get it out of 4wd.

I'm sure it's normal, but I'm asking how is this accomplished. Surely there isn't a syncronizer ring is there? I can be moving and shift in and out very easily. Why is this?
Lucky. Most are quite stiff, especially when new.

My mx5100 goes in 4wd easily but comes out hard often. If backing up doesn't work I lift the front wheels with the loader.
