The 3T80U as a base engine came in several variants. It's possible some of the other variants would work as well.

Have you looked for a complete engine?

Other possible engines to work would be,

The Yanmar YM1820 has the 3T80U-NB and the YM2002 has the 3T80U-NA, YMG2000 has the 3T80U-SA.

No domestic Yanmar was sold with a 3T80U engine. The U designation means, the engine has no cylinder sleeves.
Yanmar made the JD750 for Deere. It has the 3T80UJ engine. It's possible to match it to your engine.

You could just buy a complete engine of the 3T80UJ and put it in your machine.

Shop around.
Here i one example,
Another with a B+ rating

Looking at the piston size
YM2010 EP-9369 (82mm)
YM2002 EP-1567(80mm)
pretty much assures me of that!
