Just curious about what is wrong with your block? I owned a 2002D for several years.

The number one cylinder has a vertical crack. I am in the process of rebuilding this tractor that my son has just purchased.

Within the Yanmar YM model series, a YM2002 and the YMG2000 are they or would they be a perfect swap from a JD850 or the other way?

I cannot give you a definite answer on that. I suspect they would but do not no for sure. I would feel confident the 2002 anad ymg2000 would interchange.

I also owned a YM2002 at one time. I think the JD750 would be a closer match not the JD850. I own 3 JD850's and they are different.

Woops, I wasn't paying attention, yes, 750, not 850.

850 was told to use when the YM2500 Fredricks supplied was purchased. PTO was big time Crazy! I forget how many 2 shift levers either 4 or 5 gears 🥴
