I mow a very steep bank Horizontally on my farm.

I’ve rolled one tire off the rim 3 separate times in the last two summers .

Very scary ride until I get stopped.

I know Kubota has a monopoly on these.

Has anyone found anything with a 6or8ply sidewall ?

The cheesy 4ply blew the bands out of the bead this time so off to the dealer I go for OEM 26x12-16

Bet that was a load of excitement.
I hear you about the scarcity of that tire. I had hoped that other manufacturers would bring some to market, but that hasn't happened over the past 3 years. What about swapping the rims and using the widely available 26x12 tires? I was going to look into the tires height difference, then got a great deal on a new set of tires and rims in the newer 16" size.
I've never had a failure like yours, but my slope mowing is limited to about 300 yards of residential banks. I do burn up the rears every 500 - 600 hours by running a lot on residential streets.

If the tires on 12” rims was the same height : they should work.

I’ve heard Kubota went with the low pro sidewall 16” so mower wouldn’t bounce on rough ground causing blades to cut uneven Idk
