ZD331 oil pressure light flickering --

i noticed last night, when mowing my lawn, that the oil pressure light on my 331 is flickering on and off -- not consistently (like with a loose connection), but just oddly.

i checked the oil level, it's fine --

-- thoughts?

the unit has 53 hours on it, and is running mobil1 turbo-diesel.

it's still under warranty, i've found --

-- am going to check the connections at lunch, and if they're good, and the ground is good, will swap out the sending unit myself, with a dealer warranty part, compared to taking the unit in --

-- we'll see --

-- i might just take the unit in to get the pressure checked real-time, too, though --

Just got a new 331 myself, 12 days ago and has 1.4 hours on it. I'm glad to hear you found a simple fix for yours, I hate nightmares coming to me because I read a post like yours maybe talking about galded bearings! Glad for you, and for me too!!
