I have a BX2200 with a pin on bucket, not a quick attach. I was looking into fork options. I was looking into the Titan forged clamp on style fork but hate to accidentally bend my bucket.
So I'm wondering, without a QA, what are my options? The dealer quoted me $1350 for a QA and fork attachment.
I seen this from everythingattachments but for close to $800?! image.jpg
Titan has a skid steer fork attachment for $524, image.jpgI'm thinking about welding brackets to it.
Or has anyone made anything like this? Ideas?

I have clamp-on forks and have tried several times to lift pallets that are too heavy to lift. No bent bucket. Ratchet straps, etc, around the bucket would make it even more rigid.

I don't think the BX has enough lift power to bend the bucket in a normal lifting situation. But I wouldn't try to use them to pry out stumps, for example.

These are what I have:

You could always make some kind of hanging forks off the bucket like this?
These are mine and they work great!

No longer have my BX24 but I did have a set of pin on forks that came Bxpanded I think. Worked perfect for my purposes and used them constantly. Pulling up brush and vines, carry cross ties while building a retaining wall, scooping up limbs, etc.... Seems like they weren't overly expensive.

Thanks for the ideas, and pics. Bxpanded seems to only list the one hanging style forks now. My local JD dealer had a set of used QA forks, if I can work out a deal, I'm going to see if I can adapt them.

I would go the whole hog and change to a quick attach .....I recently changed my tractor over to a weld on quick attach and have loved it everytime I use the tractor . I bought the quick attach from Palletforks.com , cut the ears off my bucket and welded the quick attach and off to the races. Welded an attachment mount to the old bucket ....now its quick attach ready , got 48" pallet forks and a 72"root grapple and soon to be delivered a tree shear ....all because I changed over to the quick attach.
