Agco Allis 1718H Mower

I am very proud of how well Simplicity made this tractor, seeing that the company is basically my neighbor. The build quality is up there because many other mowers couldn't handle my yard, but this one owned it. I wish they had more dash and deck lighting too. The performance from the Briggs 18-horsepower Vanguard motor has a few problems like overheating from grass build up and the air filter having to be replaced every five hours. For the years of service it has given me, it makes up for everything else except the lighting. Also, make sure that you clean out the engine compartment after each use. A fire broke out on mine from this.

All Season Homeowner Tractor
Model Year: 1999

I bought my tractor used and it was re-powered with a 21 HP Briggs and Stratton Intek twin. It has the 44" three blade mower with powered bagger and a 42" single stage snowblower with a cab. I cut about 3/4 acre of lawn with it and snowblow my driveway and a couple neighbors in the winter. The powered grass blower picks up the clippings well and the hydraulic lift is great when snowblowing. The cab keeps the snow out of my face and I only take off the doors and the front skirt during the summer so the cab roof keeps the sun off my head.

Pros: Hydraulic lift, smooth engine, tight turn radius.
Cons: Needs a lot of weight on the rear wheels for snowblowing.
