Looked for a decent low hour compact as my Bolens G154 was just not big enough to pull my 5 gang Ransomes mower. This tractor does all that and more. Looking for a 3-pt hitch backhoe and front loader now. This tractor will last me for the rest of my life. I just love it.

Pros: Lots of power, 4x4, great hydraulics.
Cons: Shifter.

Ford - New Holland 2120

I own this Ford 2120 in partnership with my neighbor -- together we have about 25 acres. The tractor does not get heavy use -- mowing, snow plowing, road grading, other odds and ends. It has been fine with little to complain about. Some of the controls seem flimsy and need fixing from time to time. Its a 4WD -- this is helpful for our uses.

Pros: Reliable, good power, and traction.
Cons: Some flimsy details, expensive parts.

I would recommend this tractor to anyone. I have neighbors with 27 and 30hp tractors and this tractor is a beast compared to them. Pulls 12 foot speed mover full of dirt with little effort!

Pros: HSS trans.
Cons: Some electrical problems.
