Yanmar 3110 D

This is a good solid little tractor that is used around the ranch and is reliable. The use of a tractor is only a very few hours a week for small jobs. Larger jobs are done with bulldozers and other equipment. Great for moving small amounts of dirt and gravel etc... just a reliable little tractor.

Pros: Diesel, reliable, strong enough to get the job done.
Cons: Sometimes needs to be larger.

Good Tractor for the Size

This 35 hp Yanmar is strong for it's size. I plan on upgrading, but it does a good job with a box blade and 5' wide bush hog. It does a good job on gravel drives and grading with a box blade.

Pros: Strong diesel.
Cons: No front end loader.

YM3100D
Model Year: 1979

Purchased as a 2nd choice when the YM2200 I had been planning to buy rolled off the lot as I went in. The best time to be late in my life. The 3110D MFD is great with a loader. Been able to get out of every situation with wet fields in the spring. Better Control pulling trailers. Maint cost has been lower than that for a MF135 gaser. Parts avail. is better than my Ford or Chevy trucks Unit is shorter / a little less ground clearance for front end.

Pros: Ease of service - parts, shuttle shift, easy loader work - PS a plus.
Cons: Radiator fins extremely fine - require frequent cleaning during bush hogging.

Over all this his been a very good ( tough ) tractor. I upgraded from an 8N ford. Night & day difference. This tractor is a work horse & is good on fuel use. Dealer was great
