Built Ford Tough
Model Year: 1990

This has been an excellent all around tracter. I installed a loader on it two years ago and it works great. However, It does make routine maintenance a little more difficult.

Pros: Good value for the size tractor.
Cons: Wiring bundles are difficult to get to.

My Old Ford Tractor
Model Year: 1992

Me and Daddy farmed with this tractor until he died eleven years ago. We used it for hay, corn and gardening. We truck farmed peas and watermelons. Since then I have used it to plant most of my half of the farm in pine trees. This year my sister has even stopped using the tractor to make hay. She sold her cows. She and I use it for mowing and small scale gardening. Now the biggest workout it gets is bush hogging a parking area and the road going into our camp on Ten Mile Creek every summer before our family reunion. Other than a little recent trouble with the lift, it has given us no problems. The hours is just a guess. The odometer broke at 785 hours not long after we bought the tractor. If I had to bet, I would say it was less.

Pros: It's dependable. Always had plenty of power for what we needed done.
Cons: Don't like the headlight placement. We broke a few while using the tractor to drag logs out of the swamp.

Pros: Great tractor! No mechanical problems. Starts like a champ everytime. Plenty of weight on the machine. GREAT VALUE! PTO speed is not a "scream" speed. Plenty of power. Great for all tasks!
Cons: Harder to operate for shorter people, no shuttle shift was offered, no synchro was offered, but nothin else
