Great tractor
Model Year: 1984

this 50 hp/42pto does whatever I want it to perform.Very easy on fuel, I can mow all day in tall grass with a 7' mower and it just eats the stuff. I have 76 acres and run it wide open @ 2200rpm and it never heats up. It starts in any weather w/o ether and it's never failed to start except when the battery died. These tractors are built tough and I read about others in the same hp range that have to be replaced 2-3 times and this Case is just ticking along like the day I bought it. I was going to buy a newer tractor w/ cab/air/stereo and popcorn machine but I'm giving up my Massey 275 which is another good machine and I'm getting out the paint and getting some new decals and keeping the Case 484 until I give up the farm. And I'll get evey dime back on the tractor cause those in the know will buy it.

Pros: hyds beat most new ones, strong, dependable, good style
Cons: had to replace the belts and water pump and now -paint

Great Well Built Machine
Model Year: 1979

This is a great machine, I rebuilt the engine after I bought it and love this tractor. Its my first tractor and I plan to keep it until I die. With 15.4gpm hydraulics its better then some new tractors. The 3pt will lift 3100lbs, power steering works perfect. Power brakes, live PTO. Its easy one fuel but has enough power to get about anything done. Its built like an army tank but the design of it makes it a good looking tractor. One of the best looking tractors around.

Pros: Great hydraulics.
Cons: No glowplugs makes it hard to start when its cold.

Great machine
Model Year: 1979

Its a great tractor because its a older machine but still has great hydraulics and power that will compare with new machines. The only thing I don't like is it has a ether start so no glow plugs. Its starts up fine but in cold weather you need to use a block heater or use the ether start.

Pros: It will run with the new machines
Cons: No glow plugs
