Long 510 - Tough Little Tractor
Model Year: 1988

I've had my tractor a little over a year and other than the 3 point controls needing to be worked on, I've been plenty happy. 50 hp, 2 remotes, I bought a few implements and it works for what I need it to do around our little 25 acre farm. I square bale, till, rake, brush hog and generally do upkeep and got no complaints.

Pros: Ease of use, tough, low maint.
Cons: Have to order part off the internet/no local dealers.

Have had this tractor for 2 years. Worked it hard with a front end loader. Great size for my mountain farm. Plenty of torque and power. I bush hog, grade the drive and plow with it. also use it for timber work, hauling logs, rocks and heavy machinery. So far the only problem has been a leaky fuel injection pump which i still have not repaired. Will get it to a shop soon. Had to change fuel filters when purchased and getting it primed again was a witch. I did convert the front filter to a permanent attached base which makes fuel work much easier. So far really love this tractor. have owned Oliver 1650 and 2 Fords (8N & 2000). This was a bargain.

Pros: Size, torque, and flexibility.
Cons: Sood heavy, fuel system hard to work on.

Had this tractor for about 2/3 years. Has accomplished everything I've asked. Has a front end loader worth its weight in gold. Has a small leak on the fuel injector pump. Will have a pro do the repairs and adjust the brakes. Have had Oliver 1600 and 2 Fords. This one is the perfect weight and power I need. Very strong ROPS and factory top is the best.

Pros: Weight and power, top/shade.
Cons: Very heavy hood design could be easier to use.
