5203-1 John Deere
JD 5203 Excellent Utility Tractor...
Model Year: 2004

We have a small family farm, diversified livestock, dry hay, and firewood. Out JD 5203 is our primary tractor. It has a 510 loader as well. We use it for everything from loading manure, mowing and baling hay to skidding logs. With chains and the sadder winch on the 3-pth it will go almost anywhere in the winter.

Pros: Good, solid, simple 2WD utility tractor.
Cons: No 4WD.

Great Tractor
Model Year: 2005

This tractor handles hills great, have had it on hillsides that I couldn't lean back because it felt like I'd fall out. The loader has plenty of power combined with the tractor. I have done everything on this tractor, from hauling wood, bush hogging, to making hay and driving fence posts.

Pros: Plenty of power, 4WD is awesome, good manueverability, ease of control.
Cons: None yet.

Dependable Workhorse
Model Year: 2007

I like that this is a no frills tractor without the extra bells and whistles that can cause extra problems. It has plenty of power and starts every time. I got the bigger tires put on it and ballast in the tires for more traction. I use a shredder, chisel plow, disc, grain drill, post hole digger, hay spear, and box blade and have never had a problem. Love the tractor. P.S. Don't buy it without the loader.

Pros: Extremely dependable and enough power.
Cons: The rubber handle on the 3-point lever is poorly designed and has to be replaced occasionally.
