B-275 International Harvester
Tecumeh's Toy
Model Year: 1963

Tractor had been parked for five years, now the engine is running well but the clutch is seized and now must split the tractor for clutch repairs.

Pros: Power for size and weight.
Cons: Hydraulics/cold starting.

B-275 International Harvester
International McCormick B-275
Model Year: 1964

Solid tractor, hard starting which improved after swapping out the original series system for a 12v parallel system with an ambient temperature sensor. Needs power steering to be a useful tractor on a small acreage, but manages snow (six foot single stage blower) quite easily. The heat-houser makes -20F bearable.

Pros: Solid, easily locking rear differential.
Cons: No power steering.

My B275
Model Year: 0

I have a B275.gas/petrol. I bought this tractor for 2 reasons: 1) It was a kinda a 1 owner. It was bought new by his father and was now sitting in his shed. 2) The price. I bought it for $1500 with a grader blade. I use it to pull logs and scrub out of my property. It is my workhorse. I had to do some work to it. full tune up, new battery, starter solenoid. Future will be new tires, and repair the hydraulic leak on the lift linkage for the 3 pt hitch. Pull the brakes apart and check that they are all in good repair. I know the brakes on this are not the best.

Pros: Great for what I wanted uses very little gas.
Cons: Finding parts in New Zealand is a bit of a mission.
