Honest Worker

I use it to pump water to water tanks. I put an hour meter on it last year. It did just over 400 hours. I've had it at least 15 years and I bought it second hand from Japan. So, with 15 years and at least 300 hours per year, that equals 4,500 plus hours. It just sits still using the power take-off pumping water. It uses 0.8 liters of diesel an hour and uses just oil and oil filters. So, if the previous owner did 200 hours a year on rice paddies, that's 5,000 hours plus my 4,500 hours.

New Tractor for Novice User

With a recently purchased partially cleared rural lot, it soon became self evident that a tractor of size greater than a lawn tractor would be required to properly prepare the full lot for use. This Kubota has been very helpfull at stone relocation and stump removal.
Pros: Ease of use: I get most household guests to try the machine out for a half hour or so.
Cons: Lack of ease to alternate behind tractor attachments.

Model Year: 1990
Very reliable machinery simple to use very light demands on service parts and time (just oil, filters and a hose and a belt now and then). Although its price was average for a 20 year tractor it performs well.
Pros: Reliable, easy to use, and maintain.
Cons: Underpowered.
