Great Little Machine

Have owned my BX1800 for 10 years and the only problem has been a blown fuse which was hidden away under the engine so the problem was a little hard to locate. Have a FEL and mower deck attached and tend to keep them both on as the FEL is something of a pain to take on and off. Perhaps a little underpowered for the weight of the machine but overall still very good.
Pros: Goes anywhere and does most things well.
Cons: Perhaps a little underpowered and a bit pricey, but you get what you pay for.

Trading in BX1800

I have had this tractor 11 years. This has been a great machine since day 1. Very little in repairs over the years. If you take care of of these machines they hold their value. Gettin' ready to trade-in and get a newer model. Plenty of power.
Pros: Sturdy machine. Multi-use machine.
Cons: Pricey. Stock alternator light duty regarding amp output.

BX1800 is Strong

With Ag tires the BX1800 out pulls a BX24 with turf tires. The BX24 with turf couldn't pull this single-point bottom plow. I've moved many yards of dirt, top-soil, mulch and countless amounts of snow. Lots of utility from this diesel tractor. I've had the tractor buried in mud up to the frame, but kept the ag tires churning and it made it's way out. The cut on the lawn is perfect with a 54" MMM.
Pros: Utility, strong diesel, miserly fuel usage.
Cons: The caution lights on the ROP can break-off.
