C-125 Wheel Horse
Great Tractor!
Model Year: 1984

I bought my Wheel Horse new after having a Sears lawn tractor. I chose the C-125 8 speed because at the time, it was the larges cast-iron single cylinder Kohler tractor that Wheel Horse sold. It's lasted much longer than I ever expected and still looks almost as good as new.

Pros: Long lasting.
Cons: Long lasting, The company made them so good, we didn't have to buy another one.

C-125 Wheel Horse
Many Years of Good Service
Model Year: 1982

This is a great machine. Yes, newer tractors have tighter turning radius, and the decks could have been made of heavier material, but the tractor itself is built like a tank. The old Kohler engine is one of the greats. They don't make them like this any more, and it's a wonder that they ever did. Any of these tractors would be a worthy project for any restorer. Date of purchase is a guesstimate. My Dad bought the tractor. I was with him, but not sure exactly when.

Pros: Too many to list.
Cons: Decks don't last. OEM parts are getting hard to find.
