C Farmall
Starting with a Classic
Model Year: 1947

Love this old machine. Amazing pulling power and turns like nothing else I've driven! Simple is an understatement, but reliable as all get out.

Pros: Pulls, turns, always runs.
Cons: Non-live PTO.

Great "Classic"
Model Year: 1948

Doubt I can add much to the discussion other than adding to the consensus that these were and are great little service tractors. I bought it from my sister-in-law. Well, a more accurate description of the arrangement of the deal is she's holding my money while I have possession of her tractor. She's a bit fanatical about this old machine. Now that I've had the opportunity to get to know the old gal (tractor, not S.I.L.) I can understand the love affair.

Pros: Seems like it will never die, turns on a dime, everyone loves to look at her, hasn't killed me yet.
Cons: What's with the starter switch?

Tractor is in need of restoration. Tires don't match. Runs poorly. Governor needs work. You get the idea.

Pros: Handy little tractor when restored.
Cons: Not to good until restored.
