CK25 Kioti
This Tractor Sucks
Model Year: 2016

I bought this tractor in June of 2016. I bought the tractor with a belly mower. The first 2 weeks, I mowed my yard and front ditch. Nothing out of the normal. I used my zero turn to mow it before with no issues. Well, the third time I mowed the ditch, I raised the belly mower up and the planetary cracked where the mounting brackets are. I had the dealer fix it, no problem. It has happened 3 times since then. So I received a letter from there legal department stating that it is my fault for the failures of the machine and how they provided a tractor while it has been broken. Instead, I got a run down tractor to use for 2 weeks. I recommend you do not purchase a tractor from Kioti.

Pros: Junk
Cons: Customer service sucks

Customer Service
Model Year: 2017

The customer service is the worst I have ever had to work with. When reordering, they promise dates and do not deliver until months later. Very poor customer service. If you order any attachment you will wait months for the equipment.

Pros: Nice tractor but poor customer service
Cons: No customer service

Replaced an old Ford diesel two wheel drive tractor with this one. Although smaller it does everything I need. The four wheel drive is great and it goes places the Ford couldn't. The only drawback is the injector pump has failed at about 650 hours.

Pros: Small, powerful and doesn't use lots of fuel.
Cons: Injector pump went bad at about 650 hours.

2014 Kioti CK2510 HST
Model Year: 2014

Took delivery of my new Kioti CK2510 HST about 6 weeks ago. It had 2 hours on it when delivered. I have just under 50 hours now and am ready for my first service. I have been using it so far for snow removal and we've had a pile of it this year. The tractor is a beast and has done everything I expected of it and is amazing on fuel. I looked at Kubota and Yanmar but the Kioti was by far the best deal. Tractor, loader, backhoe with thumb, 72" rear blade and 60" rear finishing mower. I also had a block heater installed which has been a life saver as we have been in the middle of the polar vortex for the past 2 & 1/2 months.

Pros: Features, power, price.
Cons: None yet.

No trouble. Love this tractor. Do not have the hydro. Have bucket and do not use it because I have a standard. It's hard to use a loader with a standard shift a lot of clutch slippage I have a blade 7 foot which I can push snow as high as the hood. I also have a 2410 which uses twice as much fuel as the CK25. Both power the 15,000 power plant nicely and at full capacity. The 2410 does a little better in this area because of the governor drop is less. I've actually had more problems with the 2410 than I ever had with the CK25. I did put a luren cab on the CK25 which was $6000.00 But that has heat, radio, aux lighting, wipers. Love the diesels. I bought the CK25 because of the options it had over the CK20. I have 8 forward and 8 reverse with shuttle. It has a foot throttle which I use constantly. Has high and low PTO which I also use. If any one has a question you may e-mail me at kkegris@yahoo.com.

Pros: Good value.
Cons: I can't think of any. Parts are a little high I think.

Aside from the usual ignition switch problems, very happy with this unit. Has had a hoe on the back at all times and have always been able to "get-r-done". Seats are now cracking, & the hyd. cooler went s.... shortly after the time ran out on the warranty. Pretty easy to work on, but then, I've been wrenching all my life. I did have to change the hoe over to Cat controls, Can't stand JD controls.

Pros: Well built & and easy to work on.
Cons: Ignition switch was placed in a stupid spot.

I have the standard transmission, 8 Fwd & 8 reverse with shuttle gear. Have lureon cab with heat, lighting, radio and Cd. 7 ft plow for the front, 5 ft. rear mower, spreader, stone rake, rear blade. Love the foot feed. Have front end loader does not work all that well with the standard transmission, would recommend a hydro with a loader. Great service from my dealer. I have ag tires and don't get great front tire wear. Plenty of power. Turned up the pump a little. Also have a 15 KW power plant which I can get full power from. Would recommend this tractor to any one. Has good hyd. power. Love the power steering and tilt wheel. Also have hi & lo PTO.

Pros: Great tractor.
Cons: Stock air cleaner suck a lot of black soot from exhuast, changed that to up right stack and installed a plastic pre cleaner and haven't changed the air cleaner since the first one.

Bought tractor new in 2008. Dealer was Bobcat dealer as well as Kioti. Dealer within one year was Bobcat only and did not want to support Kioti separately. Seemed odd because one of their selling points was Bobcat was built by Kioti(?!). Tractor has performed admirably when needed---5 ft brush hogging in some very nasty conditions. Clutch had to be replaced at 199 hrs; suspect possible overuse or abuse during nephews use. Starter went out at 150 hrs. No warranty support for the starter even though it was only 1 day beyond 2 years after purchase. Tractor is used for garden tilling and some yard maintenance as well a keeping surrounding 25 acres mowing.

Pros: Good value, heavy tractor, good capabilities.
Cons: Poor parts and service.

I own a Kioti CK25 tractor with FEL and Howse 5" brush hog. I purchased from a Bobcat dealer in Longview. Bobcat dealer is still in Longview but is not supporting Kioti tractors any more. Replacement parts have been available over the internet fairly easily though. Have had to replace starter, clutch, and battery once already. Maintenance items except for hydraulic filter are easily found using interchange on various filter mfr. websites. I really like the ergonomics of the tractor and the heavily built frame. I think the clutch is undersized for this tractor to be really used as a daily worker, but for weekends and occasional chores it is really great. I looked at Kubota and John Deere before buying Kioti and would have to say that I am pleased with the tractor overall.

Pros: Easy to use, good size, heavy construction in all the right places.
Cons: Clutch seems to be under sized for applications.

CK25 Update of Old Review
Model Year: 2006

I'm not at 520 hours and the tractor has been flawless after the pump change out under warranty. I've now moved well over a 1200 tons of dirt, stone, mulch, manure, and brick and the loader works great. I recently leveled a spot for a 20x27 carport with the boxblade. Worked outstanding even pulling the teeth through shale. Used the chipper recently on the PTO. Worked very good.

Pros: Everything.
Cons: Loader reach.

CK25 with Loader and Belly Mower
Model Year: 2007

I purchased my Kioti from Hoover tractors, Mifflinburg Pa. at their winter auction. It was a trade-in with 100 hours on it and still under warranty. Not even broken in yet. I have added a tooth bar, twin rear remotes and a KB2475 hoe from Wallace Equipment in Mt Cobb, Pa. I have used it for loader and backhoe work with my construction business and general work on my homestead and my cottage. It has performed great in all areas. I have been working on a thumb for the hoe and a grapple for the loader. Hope to have them installed by spring.

Pros: Good heavy castings, good control layout, big enough to get some work done but not damage the yard.
Cons: Could always use more HP.

Review of Injector Pump and No Help from Dealer and Co.
Model Year: 2006

Kioti company absolutely will not help with the bad injector pump even though they knew this was a problem with their tractors. The local dealer whom I bought it from was no help either, would not go to "bat" for me with the company. Would not buy from either again.

Pros: Body built good.
Cons: Bad injector pumps known by the company and the dealer.

Tractor has been very reliable. The Hydraulic/Transmission filter is in a exposed location. I have broken it off its bracket on two occasions. Replacement parts: bracket is $25. New filter is $60. Hydraulic oil is $32. However for mowing and light front-end loader work it does a good job.

Pros: Simple to operate.
Cons: Position of hydraulic filter.

Lack of power: 1m20 horizontal axis shredder brings him on his knees. Problems with injection pump changed at 50 then 250 hours. Dealer said gas/oil is the culprit but I doubt this is true. Otherwise, very good at FEL (powerful, easy to handle) but low tipping height is a problem with Agri trailers. I don't like the left handed gears!

Pros: Maneuvrability. Grip.
Cons: Power. Reliability (injection pump).

CK25 Kioti
CK25 is a dirt digging beast
Model Year: 2006

I was looking for a small tractor that was well suited for ground engagement work (but not field plowing). I originally wanted a Kubota B26. Found that the Kioti was a good substitute for far less money. Pulling: Tractor is gear to maximize HP for pulling. It pulls incredibly well for its size. Dragged 3000 lb stumps across the ground. Pulled the Woods 7' scraper so easily that when the blade caught on a root, the tractor didn't even grunt, but the blade did bend. Pulls a very heavy Gannon 6' box blade good too. Though haven't yet tried with the ripping teeth fully engaged. Loader: The original KL130 loaders were problematic with the notorious cracking problem. But, the KL130B redesign like I have is really quite impressive. I've moved over 700 tons of dirt and rip-rap with that thing. Many times with it loaded way out on the tooth bar. The weight of the tractor combined with the loaded tires makes it very stable, even on hills. A rear counterbalance isn't really needed with the loaded tires. Break out force could be better. But, it's as good as any other in its class. I Like where the loader control is. But, the locking screw that keeps the lever from spinning could be a better design. Mine comes loose often. But, if I took it apart and put some locktight on it, it'd probably never happen again. The point is that Kioti should have done this, or designed it so it doesn't happen. Using the loader as a digger.... well they aren't really made to do that. Also, would prefer if the bucket were flat bottomed like a skid loader to make flat forward-scraping easier. The front end seems to want to lift off the ground whenever there is any resistance while forward digging/scraping. Pushing into piles though it does excellent. Easy to get a full bucket. Loader also lifts nice and high, but could use a little more reach. Backhoe (Rhino brand 7.5' not Kioti). I bought the Rhino instead of the Kioti BH because at the time there were a couple of guys reporting problems with their Kioti BHs and I just didn't want to chance it. The CK25 handles this backhoe extremely well for it's size. The outstanding flow rate drives the backhoe nicely, and can be real fast once you get proficient with it. The weight of the tractor, especially with the loaded tires keeps the machine pretty well planted why digging. The backhoe comes off easily, but requires that it be very level in order to get it back on without a lot of work. There is probably no more than 3/4" allowed for error, side to side and that's hard to hit if not level. The weight of the backhoe does make the front end real light and the tractor maneuvers better with more traction without the BH. Mine uses the rear remote kit, which is very nice. But, if you leave it engaged without the BH, and don't put in a loop-back hose, you'll burn up the Hydraulic pump. Kioti should have a fail safe mechanism built so this can't happen, as some models do. To make matters worse, while the detent position is easy to operate with the backhoe, it's extremely hard to get it out of detent when using it for other purposes. 3PH: Love the telescopic arms and nice sway bars. Hooking up implements is easy. No quick change device really needed. Front tierod could be higher. With the weight of the tractor, if you roll up onto a boulder with the tierod, it'll bend pretty easily. I think they have made it heavier duty on newer models. PTO: I've used a post hole digger and chipper/shredder. The PHD was unstoppable, even through big roots. And the 2 stage clutch worked great with it. Chipped branches up to about 5". At that size if you feed too fast, the engine would bog a little. But, all in all it performed very well and plenty fast enough for me. Hydraulic dust caps on the loader are very poor quality. Pretty much crusty crumbs at initial delivery. In contrast, those for the rear remotes are very nice. Service and maintenance is easy. Power steering and manueverability are excellent. Nice split brakes on right side. Overall build quality is very good. 2WD/4WD lever can be real stiff if not kept lubed and the knob isn't meant to take the strain. Headlights are useless with a loader. But, pretty simple to add your own lights using one of several power connectors. Kioti should offer this as an option. I like the backup light that came on mine too. Problems I've had: Original loader cracked and became unlevel. Injector pump failed at ~300 hours. Dealer and mfr backing has been excellent. They made good on all problems. Final Opinion: If you want an outstanding ground engaging machine without breaking the bank, this is an excellent choice.

Pros: hydraulics, weight, value
Cons: loader reach, breakout force
