FASTRAK Hustler
48" Deck Fastrak
Model Year: 2013

I've now had my baby a year plus and nothing to report as far as issues. I swapped out the blades to the SD blades about it. Mows awesome, gas per cut is lower as the engine and trannys break-in. I'm starting to see more and more Hustlers around here especially commercial guys. Built like a tank, easy oil changes, very simplistic build as things wear I'll upgrade them like plastic pulleys to steel models. This machine cut my time in half over an acre and trimming too. I can get it in places and around tree's and gardens that my tractor could not.

Pros: Kawasaki engines, fast, reliable, comfortable and simply built.
Cons: Zippo / zero / nadda. Nothing to report.

This mower has been very dependable, the only issues I've had is the tension spring on the deck will jump out of the slot occasionally and I have found that you should not put too much tension on it. The other issue was I had to replace one of the deck spindles. For anyone needing a spindle check SLE Equipment, they have the best price I could find.

Pros: Fast cut.
Cons: Deck tension spring mount.

FASTRAK Hustler
Great Machine
Model Year: 2008

Love this mower! I tried 3 other brands before choosing Hustler. My yard is sloped and the low profile of the Hustler hugs the hills without losing traction. Gave 4 stars on features because removing the deck for cleaning is not easy. Something I like to do every couple years for a thorough cleaning. FasTrak is built like a tank. ery easy to maintain. The Honda engine is plenty powerful and reliably starts every time.

Pros: Reliability.
Cons: None really.
