My dad bought this tractor new in Vermont in 1983. It mowed five acres of lawn weekly for 20 years, then came to Idaho along with me. After one engine rebuild, it's time for a new engine, then hopefully another 30 years.

I just bought a second gravely because I liked the first one so well. I have tried all the "top" brands before and like this one the best. It steers great, has enough power to mow through the highest grass and has gears like a farm tractor.

Pros: Quality built.
Cons: Can't add a 3 pt hitch.
