Good built quality. Wish it had PTO. Tons of play in the steering. Had to upgrade the rear wheel-to-hub connection (became loose after 150 hours).

Pros: Heavy duty & built to last.
Cons: Excessive play in steering.

Fantastic tractor. Moved up from a JD L110 to this shaft drive 20 hp. Best part about it is the transmission- cast iron and so far I have been using it to pull up small tree and bush stumps. Would not try that with my JD belt drive.

Pros: transaxle, driveshaft
Cons: Kohler oil drain - worst possible location.

I have had this tractor for 4-5 years now and it is still as solid running as when it was new. I added a bagger attachment and a pull behind cart. The shaft drive works extremely well uphill and the tractor has amazing traction. The only comment I can make is the mower deck does not seem to have enough capacity to keep filling the bagger when mowing in somewhat tall grass. It will clog easily. For those spots, I have to mow without the bagger attachment on. Overall this has been the first garden tractor I have owned that has stood the test of time. My last tractor, a craftsman, lasted a single season and was so plagued with problems I lterally threw it away than deal with the downtime of repairs. I spent the extra money and am very happy. The cut and finish of the lawn on this tractor is excellent. A great mowing machine!!

Pros: really good going up hills, reliable, rugged
Cons: shallow mower deck clogs easily
