Excellent Machine

Purchased this GT from a friend who mowed 3 acres weekly and replaced the GT with a zero-turn. I mow 2.5 acres weekly and this mower still has the original belt and all original parts on it since 1994.17 almost 18 yrs old and still running like a new machine.
Pros: Reliability.
Cons: None experienced.

JD GT262 Great little Lawn Tractor

I bought this in 2007 years ago but I maintained it for a neighbor for 7 years prior so I know most of the history. It came with a front blade, pull behind wagon, tire chains & 60" mower deck with repair manuals for all. I cut 3 acres of grass and snow plow 300+ feet of driveway. Powerful for it's size. 6 speed belt drive trans needs belt adjustment a couple times year but that's all. The mower deck could be easier to remove & install but better than most from the era.
Pros: Bought very cheap ($500)
