This mower has been very dependable, easily maneuvered and mows the lawn quickly. I replaced a JD 155C lawn tractor and my mowing was cut in more then half. It has changed lawn mowing from enjoyable to fun. Scheduled maintenance appears to be straight forward and easily done.
Pros: Maneuverability, speed, quality of cut, locally made.

Ferris Zero Turn Mower

I replaced my 11 year old Dixie Chopper with this Ferris zero-turn when the engine started leaking oil and the tires needed replacing. Doing my own maintenance on both the old one and now the new one, the Ferris has been less trouble over the years, only belt changes and one idler replaced. The Kawasaki engine has been flawless. I really like how compact and easy to maneuver it is. The shock absorbers also help over rough terrain. I own 8 acres but only mow about 3 1/2 acres with this mower and the rest is done with my Kubota diesel tractor. Now in my 8th year with this mower and hope to get many more. I will definitely consider another when this one gives up.
