This is a very reliable tractor and can be used for everything on the ranch or farm. I've read about the hydraulic issues but never had any. This is a German made John Deere that purrs like a kitten and does great on diesel. It is the best John Deere tractor I've ever owned. Parts are always available at any John Deere dealership.

This is a 2WD model. It has great power and I love the power steering. This is my first John Deere. I have three Ford tractors. I really like the tractor, but the parts are too expensive. It has its normal wear and tear breakdowns, but I just had to replace the clutch and it cost me over $2200. There was no warning that the clutch was going bad. It just stopped working in the middle of hay season.

Pros: Great power and steering.
Cons: Parts are very expensive. Two large batteries that are expensive. Several design changes within the same model makes it hard to find the correct replacement part.
