JM-454 Jinma
Once Past Initial Issues, Lasts Long Time
Model Year: 2007

I bought this tractor new in 2007. Six attachments came with it and I have used them all. In the beginning, I had to replace the steering arm and have a new bar manufactured which sets the front tire alignment (factory ones did not last). I also had custom nipples manufactured so I could use Napa filters. After this initial work, the tractor has ran great for the last 7-8 years.

Pros: Plenty of power and always starts
Cons: Electrical connections in poor quality

Traded my Jinma 224 for this Jinma 454. The 224 just was under powered for my tall Hay. Now the 454 cuts through like butter with no over heating.

Pros: Lots of power, comfortable ride.
Cons: Poor electrical connections, brakes sometimes stick.

I bought this tractor in 2006 with a front loader and a backhoe with the idea of using it to help build cabin in the woods (move dirt, dig ditches, use a box grader on my road, etc...). I only have 200 hrs on it, but have spent all kinds of time fixing it. I have replaced a starter, a bunch of seals on the backhoe, replaced the battery, and now it just died and I think I will have to replace the fuel pump. I would have a hard time recommending this tractor to anyone.

Pros: Cheap.
Cons: Junk.
