L2650 Kubota
Excellent Tractor - Wish it Had 4WD and a Bucket
Model Year: 1993

The L2650 was the first tractor I ever bought that wasn't a lawn tractor. I bought it used off a guy that used it for mowing his field with a Woods Finish Mower. It works like a champ, and has served me well. I only wish it had a bucket and 4WD now. If I find one like that, I will definitely buy it!

Pros: Reliability.
Cons: Mine is 2WD only.

Great, But Set Screws are Heinous and Need to Be Changed
Model Year: 1993

I love the quality and what looks like awesome reliability. But upon install, the 8 set bolts (4 on each 3-pt lower assy) are just way too long. 4" or so. They hang off and stickout in an ugly manner. To me, they and simply present an safty issue when rolling around the landscape potentially. I'll cut them down, but they need a qualty small bolt or allen set w/ some threadlock or something. Change these please! - CG

Pros: Qualty and can take a beating!
Cons: Need some labor on 4" set bolts on 3pt.

L2650 Kubota
Excellent Tractor for small landscape/construction or homeowner
Model Year: 1994

Overall a great tractor, my model is 4wd which allows this little, less than 30 hp machine, do the work of a much larger 2wd machine. I bought it from a man who had used it a few years but eventually got to old to get out much and it just got put in the barn (explains the low hours). I wish it had a Hydrostatic transmission though because of the amount of loader work I do. The only thing I would change if I could would be to have a little more lift capacity on the loader, the thing WILL NOT pick up a full bucket of dirt if it's the least bit wet.

Pros: 4WD, small and agile, reliable
Cons: weak loader, gear transmission (not really a con, but I'd like the Hydrostatic)
