LSP7010C LS Tractor
Unbelievable Tractor For The Money!
Model Year: 2014

I had looked at green, blue, orange and red tractors. Then I checked out the LS brand. It is much more refined than other imports in my opinion. The overall build quality is excellent! I'm only giving 4 stars to "Build Quality" due to minimal storage in the cab. The engine oil dipstick is difficult to get to with a loader installed. The original cab mounted work lights are ok. I upgraded them to LED units. Features that attracted me to the P7010C were: Biggest loader in its class (3500 pounds) 3 remote valves standard All controls grouped at right hand Larger tires than competitors Larger cab Better lights Quiet engine COLD A/C, even in 100*+ humid Louisiana summers Innovative screen for radiator and A/C condenser For my uses of mowing, small round bale production, and general land maintenance I am satisfied. It has been almost 3 years of ownership and I have had 0% downtime. Unfortunately, LS has discontinued this model. If shopping today, I would not hesitate to buy a 7040 CPS.

Pros: Great visibility, easy to drive and steer, 3 remotes, reliable, controls layout
Cons: Shifter can be stiff, lacking instrumentation beyond "tach, temp, fuel, clock"

Hydraulic Problems
Model Year: 2011

I have had 4 years of problems with hydraulics. It takes way too long for the pressure light to go off. I have talked to and done everything told by dealer and company representative for four years and there is still no resolution.

Pros: Tractor good
Cons: Want the hydraulics fixed

LS 7010
Model Year: 2012

I've had the tractor 3 winters. I use it to blow snow, feed hay to the horses, bale hay, plow fields, haul logs for the sawmill, move dirt, gravel, etc. I like the tractor. In cold weather (-20c) it takes about 20 minutes of medium idle for the transmission hydraulic fluid to heat up. Keep it plugged in and it will always start easy. Only two things have gone wrong. Last summer the tach fried and a steering hydraulic line started to leak. Both replaced by the dealer under warranty, on site, no charge to me. The things I don't like is that the manufacturer does not use primer when it paints the loader and frame. Huge flakes of paint are pealing off leaving rusted metal. I also wish that the side windows would open.

Pros: Lots of power, tight turning radius, easy on fuel, comfortable ride, good ergonomics.
Cons: No primer paint used on loader and frame, side windows do not open.

LS 7010

So far I have been very satisifed with my LS 7010. I only have 7.8 hours on it so far, but it has done eveything I have asked.

Pros: Price.
Cons: New to the market as LS brand .
