Had this tractor since new, it's been here at the farm almost 10 yrs, not one service call not one single part other than fluids filters and grease, it's replaced my old ford 5000. Type of work is pulling a 3 bottom plow, running a NH 271 baler, 7 foot garden tiller, snow blower all winter, and loader worker. No complaints here just treat it properly and do the maintenance.

Great Tractor For The Money

My U5030 has been a great 57-horse tractor so far. I purchased it used with 500 hours and have added almost 100 more over the last 14 months. The non-turbo 4 cylinder Mitsubishi motor has lots of lugging power without needing to run at full speed. It is really rugged and seems to be over engineered, The 16-speed synchro shift transmission is simple to shift. I am really impressed with this unit and it was half the price of a comparable Kubota or John Deere. It has great cab ergonomics, ice cold air, and two remote hydraulics standard. I was hesitant to buy, but would now buy another.

This is one solid tractor.

Pros: The cab is AC/Heat and CD. Great work lights.PTO adjusts for hook-up. Everything about it spells detail.
Cons: John Deere lettering and decals are better.

Stay Away From LS Tractors

Ever notice in the forums the guys always saying they like their tractors, but only have like 30 Hours. Wait until you get closer to 200 hours. LS has bad tempering problems in their front ends and transmissions; PTO vibrations that cause premature stress cracking. It's like buying a cheap tool versus buying a high quality tool. The cheap Chinese metal always mushes out and breaks sooner. Once you've bought one and the hours get up in the hundreds you may have a great warranty, but you're in the end of the line to get repairs. Good luck if you bought one, all the rest stay away!
