POWERMAJOR Fordson
Fordson Power Major
Model Year: 1959

I use it for plowing grass cutting and trailer work with a 6-ton trailer and it's never let me down. Always a first time starter.

Pros: Good value for money and economical on diesel.
Cons: No draft or position control and in this climate no cab.

When I bought this tractor it was fitted with a backhoe and front loader and was in very poor condition. The engine needed a full overhaul and the wheel bearings and seals had to be replaced.

Pros: A good reliable tractor.
Cons: None.

POWERMAJOR Fordson
Good Old Girl
Model Year: 1956

My old Fordson was bought to do some slashing, grading and spraying. She had previously had a hard life on a cattle station in South Australia. I put a new clutch, radiator and rebuilt the engine and she runs like a dream.

Pros: Starts first time.
Cons: No remote hydraulics.
