The family purchased this 3311X5S in 1986, and has been a reliable 10 hp work horse in cutting the grass and mulching/bagging the shredded leaves. It is a tough little riding mower/tractor for the past 26 years. It is still on duty. We have done regular maintenance and kept it in the garage and or barn. The motor has a cast iron sleeve and runs like new and starts on the first turn of the ignition key. We also have a snapper weed wacker of the same vintage which also runs great. Our needs are changing, and were looking at the Deere 300 series as our next purchase.
Pros: Solid performer then and now. Would I buy another, yes.
