Farming Avoid, Small Acreage Okay

Although this is a heavy tractor for its size, I totally regret my purchase. I bought this tractor to do a little brush hogging. It cant handle it. The radiator gets packed with dust and over heats so you drive around in the summer with your heater on. The tractor can't start in the winter. The dealer I bought it from is a joke and wanted to charge me to fix the starting problems which happened the first winter. I bought it in September and the glow plugs went out in December. I have owned this for 4 years and this by far has been the worst tractor I have owned. Every time I pull up to the building I have to wait an additional 1/2 hour to park it in the heated building, because the emissions kicks on. I have to park it in the heated building because it will not start in the cold weather. Anything below 40 degrees and it will not start. The hydraulic lifts, you cannot use the front and back simultaneously. You cannot tilt the bucket and raise the bucket at the same time. They said I have to buy their filters to keep it under warranty (which they wont honor) and its $130 bucks for just the filters (oil, hydraulic, and fuel). Three filters for $130 is shocking. The sad thing is I was on my way to buy a Case-IH and the price stopped me. Big regret.

Great Tractor

Use it around my house and to bush hog another 5 acres I own across town. I have no complaints at all. It came with several standard features that were added options on other brands.
Pros: Quick attach loader, telescoping 3-point arms

Very Happy

The gears were very stiff at first, but after using it for awhile it warms up and becomes easier. It is a great ride, and I haven't found many things it won't take care of. For the money, I don't think you can beat it. The front end loader action isn't really smooth. You can't move the boom and bucket at the same time as one fluid motion, but I'm sure that wouldn't worry a good operator. This is my first tractor so I don't have a lot of experience in this field.

I have only had very minor issues with this tractor. Loose bolts/rubbing I do not like the tier 4 emissions and the regen cycle that comes with it. Other than that this is a GREAT tractor. I comes standard with a lot of features that other charge extra for.(remotes, extending 3pt arms) The A/C is ice cold and the heat is hot in the winter. I think I night have liked the Ag tire instead of the R4 tires but have yet to test this out in mud or snow
